IndustryExpo is the first full-scale virtual exhibition to be launched online and has now opened its doors to potential exhibitors. “Because this is the first time anyone has built a complete life-size exhibition hall online, we needed to be able to show everyone how life-like it is and how easy it is to move around and experience different exhibition stands” explains show organiser, Nigel Borrell.

The vast majority of virtual exhibition stands are based closely on real exhibition stands constructed for traditional trade shows such as the Hannover Messe, SPS in Nuremberg or Drives & Controls at the NEC. Some are physically larger as it is easier to accommodate big exhibits when they are based on HD 3D models and floor space is less expensive. All the latest products and services from some of the world’s largest and most innovative industrial companies are on show, with some fun features that are only possible in virtual reality.

Many stands are still under construction, however there is a wide variety of different sized stands, all built to exact life-size scale which can be explored – with a huge range of products to see and investigate.

“There are several advantages to the show being online beyond the obvious convenience of having 24hr access from anywhere in the world,” comments show Director Sara Gordon, “Every product on show can have its own individual information panel, offering everything from a text description and technical specification, to interactive 3D models, videos, literature downloads and even a live chat or direct message option to contact product managers and technical support for further information”.

The show preview is accessible now via the online entrance located at www.IndustryExpo.Online
