It has been brought to our attention that there is an email in circulation offering for sale the IndustryExpo Virtual Exhibition 2020 attendee database.

The email is being sent by a company that has no affiliation with IndustryExpo, the businesses that run the event or the platform provider. The service they are offering does not exist and they do not have access to the data they are purporting to sell. We have issued the company in question a cease and desist order and will pursue further legal action if they continue to advertise the above.

At IndustryExpo we take data protection very seriously and safeguard the personal details of all exhibitors and visitors in accordance with the GDPR. We will never offer for sale the attendee database, so please assume that any email offering such a service is fraudulent.
